He has made important contributions to cardiometabolic research and translation in the UK. USA and internationally. This includes being an ongoing investigator in the landmark study in type 1 diabetes (DCCT/EDIC); Type 1 Diabetes Exchange Clinic Network; and EMPA-REG and LEADER outcome studies.
